The Brief

Create the Compelling at Home Pub Experience

In 2020, at the height of the lockdown, they designed a luxury miniature pub to enable customers from around the world to enjoy the warmth and coziness of an authentic Irish pub, from their own garden.

Position, name and brand the offering for the international market, staying true to it's authentic roots and character,

It's not often that you get to be involved in such a unique product offering. Beyond the craftsmenship and the painstaking attention to detail, this product is specifically designed to bring people together. To share moments with real character.

Balancing Irish Roots with Authentic Sophistication. There is always a risk on overplaying Irishness in a brand that is tailored to the international market. To balance this the brand's look and feel was kept clean, simple and modern. I adopted a contemporay typographic styling and premium colour tonality to ensure a sense of craft and sophistication.

Within the brand are elements of wit and character. The monogram and brand pattern hark back to the stainglass windows of small local pubs. The tone of voice and messaging has a certain Irish playfulness. Within the design system, the brand shape is that of an open, welcoming door.
